Abstract

We consider the possibility of improvement of the effectiveness of minimization of axial load on the drilling bit in the conditions of drilling of the directional and horizontal wells and prevention of sidewall sticking. As a result of friction forces between the drill string and the low side of directional or horizontal well, minimization of axial load on the rock destruction tool is complicated and it influences the speed of mechanical drilling. The use of polymer composite materials for coating of the surface of the drill string elements is suggested to decrease friction forces. We describe the technique and mathematical models that enable obtaining of the polymer composite materials with prescribed physical and mechanical properties that would satisfy the drill string exploitation requirements during drilling of the directional and horizontal wells. The model of complex method of boundary elements with mixed boundary value problem is proposed for the main level of stationary field and thermodynamically approach based on Monte-Carlo statistics method is proposed as a control model. Such a combination enables evaluation of physical and mechanical properties of metallopolymeric coating and proper selection of the filler for polymer composite materials in order to fully satisfy the requirements set forth to strength characteristics of the coating elements of the drill string and its surface under existing conditions of exploitation and technological process
