Abstract

On two types of polycrystalline materials made by hot pressing from micron and nanodispersed AlN powders, the dynamic elastic modulus E was experimentally determined and the effect on it of material porosity was revealed. Upon manufacturing of dense materials, Young's modulus increases by 30–50% up to 325–350 GPa.
