Abstract

The subject of the article is the current state of the computer network of the Institute of Superhard Materials, the purpose of the study is to establish trends in the growth of the volume of information circulating in it using the example of several segments connected using various technologies, to identify bottlenecks in the existing network topology. Recommendations are given for the modernization of the institute's network, including the use of various types of intersegment connections
