Abstract

Were studied the growth process peculiarities of single crystal diamond type Ib in solution-melt system Fe-Ni-Zn-C by the method of temperature gradient in high-pressure devices of the “toroid” type DO 044 at a pressure of 6 GPa and temperature of 1400 ºС. Used Zn additives in the carbon source at diamond cultivation in the range from 5 to 30 mass % allowed to receive structurally perfect single crystals weighing up to 3.65 ct. It is established that with an increase in the alloying additive Zn, an increase in mass is observed with the growth rates of diamond single crystals up to 8-9 mg/h.
