Abstract

This paper presents the results of testing a methodology for simultaneously evaluating temperature and pressure in the reaction volume during the manufacture of diamond-carbide plates using a Chinese-made six-punch cubic press. The methodology is based on the calibration of a high-pressure cell in terms of temperature and pressure based on the results obtained during the synthesis of diamonds using carbon solvent metals.

The results obtained will be useful in the development of new technologies for the production of NTMs using high-pressure apparatus of various types.
