TECHNICAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL FEATURES OF HAMMER IMPACT MACHINES FOR DRILLING WELLS
Abstract
A brief description of the features of rotary impact drilling technology using hydraulic hammers is given. The basic principles of operation of piston mud pumps of various types are presented in connection with their inclusion in the operating cycle of hydraulic hammers. Possible ways to create pulsed circulation of the flushing fluid by modernizing the operation of mud pumps are shown. The prospects for using the proposed hammer impact machines in operations to eliminate well complications and accidents in clayey rocks are indicated.
Taking into account the possibility of surface adjustment of the machine for generating impact pulses of various amplitudes, the most effective mechanism for destruction of rocks of varying strength is implemented, namely impact-rotational or rotational-impact. The obtained data from analytical and laboratory studies are basic for designing technical and technological parameters of drilling processes using hammer impact drilling machines.
