The collection presents scientific and practical results and prospects for the development of work in the field of design, manufacture, application of drilling rock-destroying, metal and stone tools, new materials for their manufacture, well drilling technology and methods of their control, tools for cleaning and tunneling machines.
The article deals with topical issues of the theory and practice of obtaining single crystal, dispersed, ceramic and composite superhard materials (SHM) in a wide range of temperatures and pressures; issues of development of nanotechnologies, nanomaterials and nanostructured systems. The achievements and ways of development of scientific bases of creation of the newest technologies of metal and non-metal processing with tools from SHM, including rock-destroying tools, methods and technologies of SHM application in basic industries are shown.
The current state of the art and technology of hard alloys production, carbide tools for processing metals and alloys, modern ceramic materials for the tool industry, their properties, and effective applications are also considered.
The collection is intended for specialists working in the field of development, production and application of rock-destroying, metal and stone-cutting tools, SHM and hard alloys, as well as for teachers, postgraduate students and students of higher educational institutions.
