The collection presents scientific and practical results and outlines the development prospects of work in the field of design, manufacture, and application of rock-cutting tools, metal- and stone-working tools, new materials for their production, drilling technologies, and well control methods, as well as tools for shearers and roadheaders.

Current issues in the theory and practice of obtaining monocrystalline, dispersed, ceramic, and composite superhard materials (SHM) over a wide range of temperatures and pressures are considered. Topics related to the advancement of nanotechnologies, nanomaterials, and nanostructured systems are also discussed. Achievements and pathways for the development of the scientific foundations for creating innovative technologies for processing metals and non-metals using tools made of superhard materials, including rock-cutting tools, as well as methods and technologies for the application of SHM in key industrial sectors, are presented.

Furthermore, the current state of the art in the production of hard metals (cemented carbides), hard metal tools for processing metals and alloys, and modern ceramic materials for the tool industry is examined, along with their properties and effective areas of application.

The collection is intended for specialists working in the field of the development, production, and application of rock-cutting, metal- and stone-working tools, SHM, and hard metals, as well as for educators, postgraduate students, and students of higher education institutions.
